and was very surprised at how stiff the lower O-rings were. When I first got the truck, I went to the local dealer and had them run the VIN for any outstanding recalls, they stated all was current. Mine, however, had the old style flat tensioner, and NO oil restrictor installed. So I assume 00M12 was never accomplished on this vehicle. All went well, on restart it was real rough running for awhile prior to the computer relearning. I had the battery disconnected while doing this. I did not have to remove the ECT sensor to remove the tensioner, but I put a new one in anyway. Brand new Motorcraft, made in China. If anyone has any hesitation about doing this on their own, just do it. Piece of cake.
