Just got a 1992 Explorer XLT

Just to introduce myself, I just turned 21, got my license, and purchased a 1992 Explorer with 172k miles on it. I live in Pasco FL, love to kayak fish, and journal about it in a local magazine. My friend recommended me to find a forum to join, to find information and get help with my vehicle since I'm young and will need some knowledge!

I am going to get the brakes done today, and next track down the red fluid which I believe is tranny fluid, that is slowly dripping from the bottom. It almost looks as if its coming through some hoses linked to my radiator. I do have a camera, and can take photos to assist showing you guys when I need help.

I'm excited to get working on my truck! Here is the cosmetic look.

Welcome To the Site , nice First Gen , Would Like To See More Of The Rear Bumper , The Hose your describing should be the stock trans fluid cooler that is buit into the Radiator , I Would Try And Get That fixed ASAP , These Transmissions in the first Gens are Very Prone To Problems , Again Welcome and Nice Start With That Many Miles !!
