I had a bearing pile up in my passenger side manual locking hub on my 1992 Ford Explorer XL. I have been trying to find out if I can get a bearing to replace the bearing in each hub so I dont have to drop 200 plus dollars on new hubs when the rest of the 2 hubs are fine just the bearings are worn out. I am looking for the brand of hubs that came stock since the markings have worn off mine.

I'm pretty sure that Warn built the hubs for Ford. You may be able to source parts from used hubs on eBay. If you can get a part number off the bearing itself, that will allow you to search online or at a parts house for specific items.

Just to clarify, you're talking about a bearing in the hub, not the spindle/wheel bearings?

What is involved in this install? Is it just remove old hubs, and put on new hubs?

Thanks so much for the info
Much appreciated
