Just got back from salavge yard (new toys) now need help with wiring

hey yall, i went on a salvage yard run, and got me a few new gifts for blue. they include an overhead console (ebay) wiring harness, auto diming mirror, and a new dash bezel (the 94 kind). anyway, im goin to be installing all this this weekend, and need as much help as possible with the wiring. i pulled the mirror and harness from a 94 limited, and by reading some posts, the wires are a little different. i want to be able to use all the features of the auto lamp/auto dimmer, but not sure if i have all the stuff already installed on my explorer (mainly the park lamp relay, does 92 have this?) again, thanks for any help!

What it different about the '94 dash bezel?

only thing i can think of is the radio cutout and the ABS light.

The 1993-94 dash bezel id different in more ways than you think.....


1.The radio opening
2.The ABS light as opposed to Rear-Antilock
3.The Adddition of the third switch location underneath the headlight switch(for the fog light switch)
4.Only if looked at closely, the top lip above the cluster is different, it isn't as round, and it sticks out more then the 91-91 (and looks crappier IMO)
5 The parts that are painted interior color are changed around slightly....(Low end 91-92 models have an all black panel, that isn't possible in 93+)

How exactly is the radio opening different opposed to the 91-92? im wanting to use this dash on my 92 for a couple of reasons:
1) a place to put my fog light switch (I.E. the factory opening for it)
2) i have two many holes in my old one, that i want a new bezel

Look at your 92 dash panel.... If it hasnt been trimmed, the radio hole is much smaller, as the factory radio slid in BEHIND it.

In 1993, the radios were changed so you could pull them out and leave the dash panel ON. The hole is slightly larger. The face of the radio was OVER the hole...

ok, if it is bigger, will my aftermarket radio still fit? it fits the 92 bezel just fine, what do you think about the 94 one? thanks crank!

I know on my Pioneer HU....When it was in my dads 94 bezel, it needed the sleeve to fit tight.

Now that I have it in my 92 bezel, I have it literally forced into the slot with NO sleeve......
