Nice S2 and yes the 993's are sweet what I wouldn't do for a 993GT2! What I'd really like to have though is a '73 RSR replica with a prepped 993TT engine and the big brembos.
Very nice S2, think I told you that before, I love the 996 series, but nothing can compare to the wail of the 993 air cooled engine thats like a fact lol. Our 95' 993 with the Fabspeed setup and chip just screamed when it was floored. Way more of a mechanical type of sound then Fabspeeds sound on a 996 for example, both sound excellent, 996's have a very menacing deep growl to them, but it's like on a 993' you can almost hear every mechanical part doing there job as you take off. We only had that car for 2yrs and it was very reliable, hell, my moms friend with that seriously modded Ruf Turbo 996 has been his daily driver for 2yrs with no probs....proves one thing, no other car of this caliber can be driven everyday reliably. P-CARS shall rule forever
Your a big tease there Boom, I'm dying to hear what Flowmasters sound like on an air cooled engine, I can only imagine the growl it emits would be meaner then any other exhaust setup available for any Porsche.
I really like the new 997 comming out b/c it kinda resembles the shape of the 993's.
I would be very content with a 98' C4S or older SC or RS and an 03' 996 Turbo but being only 20 thats not happening right now lol.
Funny that you mentioned that, I'm actually thinking of just getting an older SC and was actually on EBAY today and your Pelican board and Rennlist just reading about them, can't really beat them for the price, the only thing I would be worried about is something going wrong as the air cooled engines are very pricey to fix and it would see a lot of driving for the hell of it and being a daily driver, but hell, thats what Porsche is for.
Just think I'd have a hard time trying to talk them into letting me get a Porsche, even an older one. I know I'm probably going to end up with the Mounty anyway. But you really can't beat finding an older SC for about 15,000 and doing a little work to take it on the track, god that would be sweet as hell....now you teased me even more about finding an SC damnit
