<----Wannabe... LOL that's cold :D

Got a good deal on a 98 2dr 5spd. Now hopefully, money permitting it won't stay too stock for too long ;) This is my first 4x4 vehicle, as I've never really had a use for one until now. I bought a snowmobile and a quad this year, and nothing to haul them around with. I may be new to Explorers, but I'm not new to vehicle modding, as I've been playing with a 97 Grand Am for a couple of years now. If this community is anything like the Grand Am community, I'm looking forward to getting to know y'all.

Welcome!!!!

What kinda Mods you gto planned? Lift? Tires? Performance?

Welcome Again!!!!

PEACE

Well, I figure I'll get it looking good for now, brush guard, cowl hood, tail light guards, that kinda stuff. Then see what happens from there. I may end up using it as a show/demo vehicle for the car audio shop I work at. That's originally why I bought the 97 GA, so who knows. I change my mind more than a woman (no offense ladies :D ) I've never owned a vehicle with this much room in the back to play around in.

Thanks for the welcome!!

Welcome!! You seem pretty into mods and sound systems, Im looking forward to seeing some pics in due time.

welcome aboard... this site rocks... tons better than any other site i belong to... heck, these people will even help you on grand am issues.... eventhough its a GM ;)

Welcome! :bounce:

You will find every color in the spectrum as far as Exploders go. All sides are wicked from slammed steeters to serious hi-fi to ultimate rock crawlers. I've enjoyed building Exploders more then any other rig, and believe me the list is long.

P.S. Don't take offence to the wannabe. Elite is the way of showing support for the website by being a paid member. There are a few extra quirks like posting pics and the avaitor. I think there is a link on the front page that explains everything. Rick never pressures anyone to pay. When you are ready you can become elite anytime. None of the members or mods here will treat you any different.

Oh, no offense taken, it's just something I do. Being a long time member of several ga boards, and living through a few database losses and the such I always made a comment on the newbie status whenever I had to re-register. Now it just spills out on to other forums I join :D

After looking around a bit, and checking out some of the TOTW's, there are some sick trucks running around this board

welcome, funny message, what's the first mod your going to do? If you look at some of the featured rides section you'll get some great ideas!, I own a 2k2 sport but it's a daily driver (put wayy tomany miles on mine)so i'm not able to lift or play w/it to much, but still love to see other peoples toys! Hope to see some pics if you join!:)

Thanks for the welcome everybody. The first thing I have to do is find a set of silver molded running boards. My x has the fender flares, but no running boards, so it looks kinda naked. After that we'll see.
