- 2012 Explorer Limited
First time Ford owner just picked up my new 2013 Explorer Limited, ingot Silver with 301A and Moonroof. Got it for the wife as that is what she wanted. I had a nice 2 hour drive home from the dealership so I got a nice chance to check it out.
We weren't going to get the 301A but we ended up getting a great deal on one and I'm glad we went for it -- first time with cooled seats and living in central Texas, I think I am really going to enjoy those.
Sticker was just over 43k and I got it for 36k plus TTL. Ford basically matched my credit union finance offer, and in doing this was able to get that extra 1k off for a total of over 7k off MSRP.
First impressions are good, had some trouble getting the car seats in the back tonight because the attachment points are far back in the seat, making it frustrating. There is a tiny bit of play in the steering wheel which I don't like, not sure if that is normal or not. Most didn't know I was using bluetooth, one said it sounded like I was inside a wind tunnel. I love the technology, our previous car was a 2000 Suburban with absolutely nothing so this is a huge jump -- we didn't even have an aux-input jack in that vehicle and now we have USB, Bluetooth, SD Card, analog in just for audio alone...I had my wife's iPhone 5 up and streaming Pandora in a few seconds and she was loving it.
Otherwise, wife is super happy so I am happy. Next time I'm getting a Raptor for myself.
