G'day all, wherever you are. Just joined this forum. I'm from Melbourne, Victoria, Australia and I own a 2000 V6 Explorer, and I've had it since new. it's done 250,000 Kms, and has given me good service. No serious problems, although it has developed an intermittent starting issue. Every now and then, not all the time, it turns over, but doesn't fire, but will fire on the next try. Doesn't sound very serious. I hope. Runs perfect though. Hope to visit this site regularly for chatting, and giving and getting info where possible. Meantime, all take care. Cheers.

Welcome to this forum! There could be a lot of reasons for this issue such as bad spark plugs, cables, clogged fuel filter, dirty idle air speed control valve, fuel pump or PCM relay, etc. Check to see if there's a check engine light the next time it won't start.
