Well, just ordered a bunch of cool parts for my GTI, just thought I'd share!

DieselGeek short throw shift linkage
TopSpin 4 point harness
ITG replacement air filter
Audi TT pedal replacements
Hella custom airdam fog lamps
smoked bumper sidemarker lenses
front "GTI" grille emblem
Total around $800

Pics when it's all done!

Sounds like fun Alec. We just made an offer on a 2002 Jetta VR6. Should know tomorrow morning how it goes. I'd like to know how these mods work out for you.

The only power mods I'm going for right now are the replacement filter and shift kit. I've already driven 2 5speeds with the DieselGeek and it's wonderful, better than the other kits out there. I decided on the drop-in filter instead of and intake kit for a few reasons. The true CAI's can reduce low end torque for hp gains and are vulnerable to water. The open filter kits (similar to our KKM) get too much heat soak in hot weather.

Is the Jetta 5 or 6 speed?

It's only a 5 speed. I was eyeing the '03s with a 6 speed. Really wanted a TDI until I drove the VR6. Big mistake. This '02 only have 19k miles and is $10k off sticker (so my offer was anyway).
