Couple days ago just found my Explorer 92 just died on my driveway, after many attempts I just realize the fuel pump wasn t priming like usually, in fact couldn t hear the typical noise. Back in time since last April it was making funny noises at time to crank it up, it was like the flywheel got missing teeth. I ran to the mechanic and he said "it is the fuel pump, I wont replace that, just make a few try with the key on ignition position and you ll be ok". Then when I found it dead my first thought was "prophecy was right, fuel pump is gone". Then I did a research in this forum and found a lot of useful info, tips and the best attitude. Can t remember names or threads, I think most of them about fuel pump and relay failures. Short story, thanks to YOU I got my problem fixed just replacing the fuel pump relay and the ECM (?) relay. Don t remember wich one but one of em was rusty and holding water at inside, I don t know how to post a picture but it will be nice to show you how bad it was. THANK YOU ALLL!!!! If there s someone here that need additional info about kind of relay replaced or something else that i can help just let me know!!!
