Since I joined the site a short time ago, I have gotten a wealth of information. I just bought a used 97 XLT and it wouldn't pass inspection. The members here walked me through the repairs and from my estimates saved me a couple hundred dollars in repair bills by being able to fix it myself.

For this reason, and to say thank you, I joined the site today as an elite explorer. What confuses me is I see so many people getting info that haven't joined. Twenty dollars doesn't even cover walking into a garage anymore, nonetheless being walked through the repairs. Sites such as this don't run for free, so if you do get help in saving money, help them out with a 20 dollar membership.

Welcome. I felt the same way. The people who manage this sight are doing it on a donation basis. $25 to use bits, bites, servers and admin is way cheap.
