Just wanted to say thanks to those of you that have mechanical ability for sharing your knowledge. Granted I don't even know if I have a sohc or an ohc or how to find out or even fix it, but I have enjoyed reading the inforation you all share with each other. Maybe one day I can learn to work on my stuff and share some information with others. Pass it forward as some would say. Again thank you.

Good to hear people being appreciative.

Your door sticker will tell you everything you want to know about your vehicle. You can look up the VIN online and find out some interesting things, like where it was made and when. Your axle gearing codes can be found here in the trans sub forum. Your engine code and your trans code as well. Paint color codes are in the bodywork sub forum.

Once you have a handle on what you have to work with, searching for info will be a lot easier on you, and make navigating the vast resource here more pleasurable.
