K&N drop in filter

I just installed a K&N drop in filter I want to know if it good does it increase horsepower if so by how much also does it filter better than a oem filter as in letting dirt go in the engine

You will notice some increase in fuel mileage and horsepower. There is a more noticeable change when using the cone filter.

The biggest restriction in our intake is the suction pipe from the filter box. K&N isn't really going to help in any way. The whole system needs to be converted to a cone type to feel any type of gains in the HP department.

IMHO - A paper filter filters better.
