my stupid question: K&N Drop in Filter

I have read about it from other posts. I just have to drop it in and it should help my mileage? I also saw that you would never need to buy another one and I would just have to clean that one. Thanks for your help

You have summed it up quite well.

However, for better performance consider a KKM or K&N Cone filter kit.

I have the K&N drop in and it is nice. especially if you add a larger throttle body too.

they are available almost everywhere.... www.performanceproducts.com has them and i bet your local kragens has them too...
