Has anyone every dealt with the following companys and are these prices too good to be true?

Savana Jones at: Savana Jones

The K&N filter 33-2106 for my 98 is $41.95 + no tax + $8.75 s/h = $50.70.

Performance International at: Dead Link Removed

They have it for $41.24 + $3.40 CA tax + $5.00 s/h = $49.64.

or are there any other reputable online stores I should be looking at?

Check your local stores...I got mine for about $38 at AutoZone or one of those. Just call them up and ask what the price is.

If you want a Superchips at the same time, SmartyParts is running a combo deal with a K&N. I didn't check the price on it...just saw the ad on their site: <www.smartyarts.com> I just had a 2 week wait to finally come thru on delivery of a Superchips, but they finally did do right.

Anyhow, for something as inexpensive as a K&N, check your local auto supply places...shipping will likely eat up any savings from a mail place if that's all you're buying.

I just paid $53 including tax for the flat filter at Checker in Phoenix. I know it's cheaper on a lot of websites, but after shipping, who knows. Also, I've been jonesing to do some sort of modification so I said what the hell. Figure I paid too much, but it was in the beast within the hour. Oh, yeah, Checker has a price guarantee, so if anybody in Phoenix has it cheaper I get some gas money back!

Hmmmm. Ya got me. I finally found the record of the purchase and it was $39.99 in the store. Maybe it was on sale.
