k&n seal on bottom of airbox

Gday guys, I f***** up and put the seal on the bottom of the airbox instead of the top. I know, I'm a ********. Is this a major concern or will it be o.k? Just wondering before I've driven it too much. Appreciate any help, cheers.

Hmm...I did the same thing and mine worked fine inside of the box/tube were clean when i put on my kkm

wait you mean on the bottom half of the box...where they fit together right?

Yeah i found the instructions today and thought oh dear.The seal was spose to go in the top half of the airbox above the filter but I put it in the bottom half of the airbox under the filter.

Hmm, well I guess I messed up on mine too and ran it like that for 10k miles and didn't have any issues.

Thanks mate! It looks like a good seal but that doesnt mean much. I thought I could run duct tape around it if it was a drama but if alls good with yours Im worrying for nothing. Cheer for letting me know.
