Is the K&N better than the ones that cost less?

its a $10 difference on ebay but the lesser one claims more HP over the K&N

E Bay HP gain claims are worthless. I would prefer the K&N, just for brand reputation, especially for $10.

Out here in CA, that CARB certification for the K&N makes smog inspection easier.

Ive heard that the oil off a K&N Filter can corode the element on the MAF sensor. Might want to keep a check on that.
