Keep the x or what?

Well, i'm not too sure on where to put this, so, i'm gonna put it here. Well, i bought a 95 x, great spae, had 110,000 on it, bought from a cop for 4,000, a steal if you ask me. well, i'm at this dealership the other day and i asked, just for fun, what i could get for it, he said 8,000, i know hat seems hight, but i 'm not going to arguee. Here is the thing, i love offraoding, but i'm broke, so i can't do anything to the x. i like k5 blazers, like the late 80's, the ones that the tops comeoff. i have seen a few for sale for about 3,500-4,000, with about 115,000 on the clock. do i sell my x for profit, put a little into the blazer and make it a beast, or what? i'm really lost here, any imput would help. sorry it is so long, but this is bothering me. thanks in advance.

Well, if you find a great Blazer that you want, I say go for it! $4k in a K5 Blazer will make it a great trail rig.

Whatever you want to do, if you can double your money in the X, I would do it. That kind of oppurtunity doesn't come along very often.

If it sounds too good to be true

it usualy is. Where are you going to find someone to give you 8K for a 95. Sounds like you paid about the average price for it.

I'll bet it was $8,000 on a trade-in on a new one. We have a dealer here in C.S. who will give you $3,000 on anything you can tow into his lot on a trade-in. Check the NTSB book in your local library to see what it's worth in your area.
