A friend told me to change the ignition switch cylinder but i just replaced it and didn't work and the alarm its driving me nuts. Does anyone know how to fix that or disconnect the alarm???

Mine started doing this on my Bronco II - I was driving down the road and the door chime just started dinging - ding, ding, ding, ding, ding - thought I was going to lose my mind! IT is located just beneath the cigarette ash-tray (mine was a white box) with a 5-6 pin connector going into it on the driverside... Removed the connector - problem solved.

welcome
