Key Fobs

I just bought a 99 explorer, but its only the key. It does have an alarm though. Can I buy like a key fob off ebay and use it? Oh and i wasnt sure where this was suppose to go so move it if its in the wrong place.

Also while im driving sometimes the 4wd low and 4wd high lights flash on the dash. Could that just be a sensor or something b/c the 4x4 still works.

Ok wel im an idiot and i guess i should have searched for the key fob thing b/c i found my answer. Anyone got any ideas y the 4wd is blinking?
