I really like not having to pull a key from my pocket to lock/unlock the doors and start the car. Or I did until last night.
For those in warmer climes, it was ~43 degrees and drizzling at 11:30 last night here in Michigan. My folks are in town and went with me to my 10:00 soccer game. After the game, we came outside and I opened the rear hatch, dropped my bag (with my keys and wallet in it) on the floor behind the third row seat and... closed the hatch.
The range on the keys is less than the distance from behind the third row seats to the sensor.
I don't know my key-code. I will memorize it.
Lesson learned.
And I was suprised at how quickly the tow guy was able to get into the car.
