Keyless entry problem.

Hi I'm a new member, from CA.
I own a 1999 Ford Explorer XLT 4X4
V6 SOHC engine
My problem is with the keyless entry system. It suddenly stopped working. I've tried to reporgram the personal code, Ive tried using the factory preset code without success. What can I do to further diagnose and repair problem?

Welcome to the site and like the man said check the batteries is the first place I would start.

Need more info. Does the remote work or not; can you trigger the alarm from the remote panic button? Does the keypad work or not? Do the power locks work from the remote? From the keypad? From turning the key in the lock cylinders? From one or more of the door switches?
