keyless entry question

Hello all,

I just purchased my 98 Explorer from a used dealership yesterday. It has the number pad on the door for the keyless entry, but i do not have the code. Is there a way to reset it, or can I get the code from Ford? Its not a big deal, but I do have the option, so I'd like to use it
Any help is greatly appreciated.
(and just incase the code is in the manual, it didnt come with one)

You will find the code on the control unit which is located in the foward part of the jack compartment .

I am sure someone can tell you how to set your code, I just don't remember.

There are 2 codes (at least on mine and a couple of friends). The first 'factory' code is the one Al is talking about, its a little hard to see, but I was able to see mine with a good flashlight, I"m pretty sure this code always works. You can also program a 'personal' code, I don't remember how either, but I got it from a friends owners manual (my Ex didn't have one and I never picked one up), but you should have it in there. It was pretty easy, but I don't remember the steps.
