keyless entry remote

Is there anyway of figuring out if my 2002 XLT has a keyless remote capabilty. I bought it used and the dealer said it didn't come with one.

It used to be that if your Ex had a keypad, it was Remote Keyless Entry capable. My 93 XLT did not have one, but my 97 EB did. However now that I recently bought my 05 it has RKE but no keypad.

Just throwing ideas in the air, but perhaps contacting your local Ford dealer (don't know if you purchased yours at one or not) with your VIN number and see if they can determine?
