Is the only way to retrieve the factory "base" keypad code through the dealership and paying their $100 fee?
I have no way of knowing mine, and neither does the owner before me.
I was hoping it was stated somewhere on the vehicle like Mercurys were by the trunk hinge.

Thank You BigRondo
I just did as that topic suggested and sure enough, there was the code.
Thanks to Welli & to all who contributed in that thread.
This is a very good site. :)

Rick, I'm glad it worked out for you. If you need instructions on programming a personal code check out post #3 in this thread. Bob has provided the instructions. :salute:

If the OP ever shows up again....I would think that the easiest thing for her to do is just simply unplug the the key pad for two months. Let her fiance think that she changed the code on him and he'll give up.

Go wings!

I just noticed that. 49 years is nothing, we have been waiting much longer for the Cubs. I did see the final game on TV last time they won the cup. I dont remember it that clearly, probably because I was 1 year old. :) So thats twice in my lifetime. Dont think Ill ever be able to say that about the Cubs.

Come on Bob, you gotta have faith. I always said "never in my lifetime" about the Red Sox & the Patriots. You gotta believe! :salute:
