So is your parking brake unusable now? I like the sub/amp install, it looks really nice. I don't know what to say about the kick panels, but want' to see them when they're done.

Through the suspension lift and body lift, the parking brake became useless. They sound awesome, but aren't exactally the most beautiful. The problems with this is:
1. It takes alot of patience, which I usually lack.
2. I had to mold copies of the stock kick panel, then make
the pod itself.
3. I've got the highest model Fosgates, which have huge
magnet structures in the back.
I've got a set of stock kick panels at home for the new installation, which will be much cleaner, and more compact. I was pleased with the actual sound quality, and strength of the pods....Not necessarly the looks. These were my first, and not my last. As for the subs...I've still got some trim work and touch up on the carpet (around the subs) but that is a real easy fix....just takes time that I dont have.

hey man, that could loook really good with some sanding and a can of paint.

I see some similarities in the sub install.. I like what you did with the amp.. I'm thinking of a way to show mine off.. I've got a nice shiny autotek amp and its just crammed behind my seat :(

Setup looks like you put a lot of thought into it. I was told by a custom shop near my college they could put some separates in custom fiberglass kick-panels, but I moved before I got the chance. They were going to do it by cutting a triangle out of the carpet on the driver's side because it is so thick. they were also oing to cut a small piece of the curving metal back of the p-brake so I could apply the thing fully without sacrificing any of the structural integrity while my speakers were in there. They were VERY INEXPENSIVE too. If someone is ever in Texas and wants their info, I'll gladly send it to them. the idea is great, but it takes a lot of patience to do.

Also, what did you put (if anything) in the stock speaker locations? I'm gonna go with a three speaker setup by putting some Focal 5ws in the doors, after sealing them up. A LOT!

Pete,

That looks great! You should back out a little and take a picture of the whole rear too, cause the small amp rack you made looks really nice. A lot of people don't take the time to actually make a flush amp rack like you did. Awesome work!
