KKM from a 2nd gen

I can get a REALLY good deal on a 2nd gen KKM. It fits a '00 OHV. I have a '93 OHV. Does anyone know if the KKM from the '00 will fit my '93 with a little bit of modifying or will it not be anywhere near close to fitting mine?

the MAF adapter will be completely different

but relocating the battery where the stock air box is and vice versa would probably fix that problem, since they are almost perfectly interchangeable... go figure

they mount in differnt places because the firt gen has the battery on the pass side and the later ones have it on the drivers side

i got ALdive's old KKM I do not know off hand what year his is and it fit with no modding just lil close to the batt and alt no problems thou

ps if it is a really good deal you can toss the adapter and get the right one w/30deg neck for the 1st gen from KKM, for $30-40
