I have a 92 x with the stock rims, I belive that the newer model rims are slightly larger. I don't have the money to go out and buy a new set of fancy rims, nor do i need them, but i figured i could go to a junk yard or something and find a set of late model rims for a fraction of the price.
The reason i am doing this is because i am going off to school and need new tires, i was gonna get the biggest i could that would fit on my 92 stock. My school is up in the Mts and i figured a few more inches would help out in the snow. Plus i think it would look a lot better
Do i need to get the larger rims? Or can the same size tires fit on my stock rims. WOuld it look better?
One more quick question, My tires are 235/75r15, i know the 235 stands for the tire diameter, and the largest that would fit on a stock X is a 275. But what do the other numbers stand for? Would a 175/70/r15 fit or do they need to be the same size.
Thx alot
