I would like to get some rims for my 92 x, but i really don't need anything fancy, because of the occasional off road here and there, not too often though.
If i could find some nice chrome ranger rims would they fit my 92??? Or even new style X rims?
thanks for your help!

Should be OK

I have Ranger steel rim's for my winter tire. They are 15x6.5 instead of 15x7 for the original alloy wheel of my Ex. What you must watch for is the bolt pattern, it must be the same, so you can fit every rim that is the same pattern.

it has been my experience that the ranger, bronco 2 an dexplorer use the same bolt pattern. i cna be wrong, but to be sure just get your tap out and measure the distance between 1 and 3 bolt. basicaly skip a bolt. i put my friends wheel son my x after i got a speeding ticket and went and got the speedo calibrated. i had 31s and he had 33s. they rubbed like hell but the guys at the shop still did the test and i got off the ticket. this was when i was younger and stupider. i do not recommend anyone doing this as it is decieptful and illegal. now i drive slower. when i was tesing whether 32 would rub i got the whell snad tires off of my cousins boyfriend's ranger and they switched no prob. same bolt pattern.
