you have to change both, it sags because they are both wore out, and the one broken can only be a sign that the other might not be far behind,, ,
shocks do not affect the height that the truck sits at ,they are just dampers to keep the springs from,,, well springing,, if they were not there it would just continue to bounce,,
once the springs are replaced the front and the back should be close to the same height,
again,,

keep in mind that the ride height of the front is adjustable, simply by turning a screw to adjust the torsion bars. typically it can be adjusted +-2 inches.

replace the springs, then adjust the front up or down to level it out

Is there a how-to on changing leaf springs here?

Also, what is the best recommended place to get a pair of leaf springs?
Junk Yard? Stealership? Rock-Auto, or just a local shop that repairs these things?
I see that Advanced Auto/AutoZone does not carry these.

where do i find the code at on my leaf springs so i know witch ones to replace them with i know there is like 3 codes or something?????

The spring code is on the drivers side door tag
