I replaced rusty old leaf springs with new ones, but one of them has not
been aligned correctly. The little something looking like a nipple must be
inserted in a small hole on the axle housing. I had one set of leaf springs go in there on the passenger side
and the other not on the driver side no matter what i did.
I tried to adjust other bolts and nuts around this spring, but no luck.

I would like to get any advice on solving this issue.
Thank you in advance for any help.

That nipple has to align with the hole.
The only way to fix it is to loosen the
U-bolts and pry the spring pack into
alignment, using pry bars and jacks.

If it still won't go, try jacking up the
opposite side and see if that helps.

Be very careful. Safety first!

Thank you for your reply. I will try your way.
