Leaf spring swap

i have a 1998 ford explorer 5.0 v8 awd..
i want to swap leafsprings with f-150 leaf springs...
is that possible? and how hard?
i put lift shacles on it and it bent the leaf springs back the oppisite way:/
i want it to set even so i can be sittin pretty at a total of 5 in lift 3 body 2 suspension... help please...:exp:

Search on here, theres a thread on how to do it. You use your main spring and the additional leaves from the f150 i think...

Ya it's from an early 80s mod f150 that u have to get the springs from

ive looked on here im just confused so i talk one of the leafs off a f150 leaf and add it into the existing leaf spring and if so what one?

You keep your long main explorer leaf, discard the rest. You add all the leafs, except the F-150 main leaf.
