Would leaf springs off a 4 door give my 2 door sport more lift. I would like to get rid of the mono leafs and get rid of that annoying squat in the rear.

Most likely, no. If it did, it wouldn't be much. But, they are a straight swap and while you've got them out, you could easily do an AAL or, depending on the lift your after, do the F150 leaf mod. If you want anything more than a couple of inches, you're better off buying leaf packs with lift built in. If you just want to get rid of the sag, some low mile (or new) 4 door leaf packs should work.

Dave.

Thanks Bronco638

Unfortunately the f150 mod is to involved for me and I just want to add about two inches of lift and get rid of the rear end sag. So I been thinking of going with the warrior shakles and four door leafs. Would this give me a harsh ride.

Your ride would not be too harsh after that set up. My cousin has the shackles in the rear of his and a tt in the front and I can't tell a difference in ride quality. I have a set of 4dr. rear springs if you are interested. Good luck with that you decide.

4dr leaf springs will not give you any lift, but I like the ride quality a lot better. Not as much roll in my opinion. I also have a sport. And it's worth it.

I wish I would have done the springs and AAL at the same time. It'll save you a lot of trouble time in the long run. Swapping out the shackles is like a 5-min. job (given you don't have to fight the bolts), go with AAL when you do springs, and then you'll probably end up getting shackles later still, but the time savings is worth it.

Does puttin' the AAL on with the springs under the axle give you lift or lower it???

Lift, thicker pack with a crisp clean arc.

Thanks guys,

If I put the AAL on with the 4dr springs which would give good ride quality and rear stability... a three or four leaf pack.

appx91 i am interested in the 4dr leafs, if blue-oval does not want them, how much would you sell them for?

Code F is what a lot of people, including myself, have gotten. 4-leaf, now 5 with AAL.

chevy 56" leafsprings work in an explorer ;) , right now a 6inch liftspring with 5 inch block is goin under my truck, to try to match the 12" front leafs that are also goin in

I have code F leafs on mine with warrior shackles and I have gained about two inches of lift. The ride is soft but I still have good handling with this setup.

I found a set of code F springs for $50 with only 500 miles on them and plan on installing them with the warrior shakles. Any advice before I install these and can they be installed by one person.

I have to same problem with my 2000 sport. I hate that rear sag. Can anyone help me out as to where to find the 4dr leaf springs along with the warrior shakles?????? What's a good website to buy these???? Thanks

Roland

Have you visited local junk ("you-pick-it") yards? There's Car-Part.com. You could aslo try some spring manufacturers: Eaton Detroit or Dever. Last, but not least, Ford dealer.
