I currently have a leak from the thermostat housing in my 91. The two bolts on the right side (the easy ones to get to) are quasi-stripped and I believe this is where the leaking occurring. Do I need to get a new thermostat housing? and what all does installing it entail? Thanks

Striped is BAD..It is either the block or the bolts..Take it to the shop, more then likely they will have to chase the threads in the block. In the future, if it starts to leak, there is a rubber O-ring in the housing. Replace it and don't over thighten the bolts, the torque specs are there for a reason..
Good Luck..

just tap the holes for 1/4" standard bolt this want i did. If this wont work and they are stripped too bad just drill them out a little and then use a helicoil. This will work for sure. Robbie
