So it's been leaking for long enough and I'm ready to fix it now. It's leaking out of what I believe is called the power steering gear, it's coming out of where it connects to the pitman arm. Can I replace just a seal that is in there with basic tools? If so, what is the name of this seal? If not I suppose I would have to replace the whole steering gear. I have not replaced one before but have a good idea, any insight on this project would be great.
thanks

You can replace the pitman arm seal, you will need a puller to remove the pitman arm first, the seal kit should be available at your local parts store.
