Just got done putting in the new-to-me 4.10 front differential and it appears to have a slow leak at the input shaft seal and the passenger side CV axle seal. I did however overfill the case when I put fluid in, but not by much.

I read in Haynes that it is common for the transfer case to leak at the seals when too much fluid has been added. Can't find anything on the Dana, is this also possible for the differential?

If it continues to leak I assume I will need to replace both seals. I can't find any threads on it so I was hoping someone could provide me a brief explanation on how to do it. I'm hoping it is as simple as just pulling the old seal out and pushing in a new one... HOPEFULLY.
