LED Tailgate Light Bar- X with no hitch

Hey Guys,

I am looking at getting an LED light bar for the tailgate of my X (99 XLT). I do not have a hitch so unfortunately I can't just plug into the hitch hookup... how difficult would it be to make this work without that? Thanks for your help!

You can tap into the wiring at the tail lights. By splicing in, it gives you the same end result as having a hitch connector.
