LED tails-different ider

This for the bronc... See pic below to understand. I've got a homemade bumper that will get axed this winter. The stock tails are weak. The aux tails are bright. However I'm gonna make a rock crawler type rear bumper which will be smooth (smash it nothing gets damaged) so i dont want to sink the leds in there, and no tire carrier. SO i thought about this idea.

Oh, the white ovals would be LED reverse lights...

Thoughts? Ideas? Comments?

the only issue i can think of is how to keep the wires enclosed in the gate and allow it to still open, you will need t odo basically what they do for doors, and still be able t oaccess the inside of the gate for wiring or future issues

I don't know if there is enough clearance, but run the wires from the bottom of the tailgate -- so you can't see anyhing on the sides (if that was where you were going to go in the first place). I think it's a smart idea.
