I am looking to put lighting under the dash. On the driver's side it is a sinch but on the passenger's side there is a big black box that takes up half the area. The only way to install a decent sized neon is to put it in front of the box where it can be seen. The only way around this is by either installing it where it can be seen, buying a very small neon tube or buying a flexible LED light. Will there be a big difference between Neons and LEDs? Which is the best choice?

Go with Cathodes, they are perfect for what you want to do. They're lighter, brighter, and cheaper than neons. http://oznium.com has what you want in a bunch of colors in 4" and 12" size. I have a green 12" cathode in each footwell under the dash. Bright as hell.

Do you know if these will connect to the music interface box that I posted above?

The transformer that comes with the cathodes is already made to function with a music interface. I believe you'd need to buy a separate part to actually make it work, though. Check it out on the site, can't hurt.
