99 XLS
Ok, so ive had my 99 xls for a couple of years and i did the whole tt&aal thing, looked awesome with my 265-75-r15 BFG all/terrains.

I then switched to pirrelli scorpion all terrains and just so everyone knows not all tires are created equally.

I have a couple of buds with cherokees and they started inviting me to hit the trail, so i bought a safari light bar and 2 hella 500's. Shortly after i bought a cargo basket for the roof and tossed my spare up there.

I realized I couldnt see at night backing up so i mounted a hella on the rear of the basket.

After some rougher night rides i wrecked some my hellas on my bush bar, so i bought 4 more and mounted them on the front of my cargo basket. Best thing ever.

I kept worrying about hitting them on some big branches and after a close call in a parking garage i went to the wreckers and pulled a manual sunroof out of an retired exploder. Yah i can see if im gonna hit my lights. Unfortunatley my roof lights shined right through the sunroof making it impossible to see the road. a black static vinyl sheet took car of that problem and if i need to see through my sun roof i just peel it back.

I then ripped out all the carpet and sprayed the bottom in bedliner.

*********After pinching the tail pipe virtually shut, i drilled a four inch hole in the side of the rear bumper just behind the rear tire. Some quick welding and a 4 inch steel ring and now i have a protected side mount tail pipe that looks expensive as hell.

**************I recently just picked up some 33x12.5/15 BFG mud terrains and all i have to say is holy crap they looked big. They fit the back perfectly but the front not so much, unless you dont care about truning.
I ripped out the front oem fogs and cut the bumper in half. I picked up some new square fogs and mounted them on my light bar that had been lightless since my switch to roof lights. The bar was designed to fit under the oem bumper and now that i had trimmed four inches off ot hung to low so i trimmed the brackets and brought the bar up. It looks bad ass. I also had to trim four inches off my fender closest to the front door to allow for turing the huge 33's. Ive seen posts on here so i wasnt to worried about.

I dont know how to post pics or i would cause id love to see what eveyone thinks of the exhaust especially. Ive had alot of ppl clone my idea.

Last and probably least, i stripped all the badges and got some black ford logos made super cheap. all of the xls and explorer badges are gone and i replaced it with a bronco badge with the x off of the explorer badge, It now reads "bronco x" pretty stupid i know, but the great pumpkin and mudslut were already taken.

another great idea, for someone, go to the wreckers and cut the letters out of alot of different cars until you have enough letters to spell mudslut. i hope i see a pic of that up here soon
