Mine's a slug.
I should have a "got killed by" list
I got roasted by a Del Sol a week ago. My buddy has a '02 V-6/5-speed mustang that regualrly spanks me leaving school. Friend at work has an '02 Camry XLE w/V-6 - I gave up after 100 feet. It rained here this weekend, the only spinnin' I could get was after a power brake. I got gutter jumped by a 10 year old Dodge Diesel P/U - and lost.
I think you are all full of it, with your kill lists. Did you look over and see the other person trying? The only other vehicle I can remember beating is another Explorer (w/V-6) gettin on the freeway, and I'm not even sure they were trying.
Even worse, there is not even enough HP's to get the ass-end to come around under hard cornering, all you do is plow your way thru the corners. My Explorer needs another 150 HP just to make it interesting.
Seems like Explorers are the anti-performance vehicles. They just look good and have a decent amount of interior room.
Like I said before, I've gotten good a looking like I was not even trying. Tho, I don't really try anymore.
