It is, Isn't it

yup, liberty. he wanted to check out the campsites to make sure it was big enough for the motorhome and dodge both with trailers.

No problems, right?

BTW, Friday night is movie night. I'm bringing a projector and we're going to watch home movies on the side of Kevins camper, of me learning to ride a bike:p:

NOT!

Maybe the recent Bond filck, Casino Royale?

how about some video of 85bronco2man drunk, laying in his own puke around the campfire at tahuya? a rivoting piece of film-making!

no problems with camp...plenty of room.

lol i still wanna see that video sometime dam that sucks about the the 500

ok so i need to pick all your brains everthying is good on the bronco except 1 thing so let me explain so up untill three months ago when i brought the bronco home from work i had not had this problem so sometime it does it on flat land but mostly on hills it will bogg down and die unless i push in the clutch now it only does it under load so as soon as i push in the clutch and give it gas its fine when its bogging its almost like its not running on all cylenders now the only thing that has changed is i added an intake aka made my air box and snorkle and my dad tweaked the idle air jets now it also does not idle once its warm hmmm so what do you guys think it could be

Clean the MAF sensor for the idle, and for the bogging under load, check your tail pipe. It almost sounds like your catalytic converter is starting to clog up on you. If it's got one of those old school carburator thingies, it could just be gunked up on the inside too.

Wow, after reading that, I just realized that I gave you a mix info. If yo have a carb, you probably don't have a MAF sensor. I am sure that it still has a catalytic converter though. Bang on it and if you hear rattling that is not the heat shield, it's falling apart inside. It will rev fine under no load, but under load it will bog and cause loss of power problems.

MAP sensor

I think it's an atmospheric sensor mounted on the firewall, Kevin that's what your kid's BII has.

One more week :bounce:

Unfortunatley, Paul will not be with us.:(

RIP Paul

We'll mark out a spot and put your name on it:p:

Chalk Marking. . .

Yep, I'll be out of town, but you guys have fun.

Fly safely buddy, your not a marshall yet;)

Besides we have some salmon fishing to do!! Maybe we can get Joe to come along too?

lol i dont have a cat but THE BRONCO IS COMMING changed out and put a differents style fuel filter the old filter had so much stuff in it in and found a huge massive vaccuum leak and just took it out and it runs great i already have 20 miles on it so i will put the other 30 tommorrow and button everthing up

Not enough fuel to keep up with demand under load. Makes perfect sense to me. And the vacuum leak will cause crappy idling.

4 days to go :bounce:

BRING FIREWOOD

Well we are still planning on coming. And I think your right on the trailer size, it's shortened(I'm not sure how long it is though).

We were at naches this weekend, had a good time, took a nice line in the Explorer, almost flopped, but instead got some good rock rash and a nice adrenaline rush. Also learned that 7 people in the explorer w/ 37's makes it unhappy and SLOW, poor slush box sure had to work hard.
Another line that I didn't make it up:

We are having connection problems with the battery, a REAL pain and we can't figure out whats wrong. The battery is less then 2 years old and the positive terminal clamp(?) was replaced in the last couple months yet keeps corroding. To start the explorer now we have to use jumper cables to get the connection. It starts fine once we do that though. I'm frustrated, it's a PITA and is getting worse.
Anyone have any ideas?

Have the battery checked with a volt meter. Paul had a red top optima short out on a backroad tour around the Whiskey Dick area. It finally succomed to all the vibrations.

I had a 5yr old Die Hard go bad last months due to the same thing.

As for the corrosion, might be a bnad cable too, wouldn't hurt to replace it.

Is the replacement terminal/clamp one of those autozone specials that bolts on to the wire? If it is, take the wire back out, clean it up real good and also the mating surfaces of the clamp. It sounds like you have poor connectivity there and it has enough juice to run the truck, but not enough for staring. Check and make sure all your connections are tight on the rest of the truck also. You may also want to clean the battery posts. Any auto parts store has the battery terminal cleaner.
