I was searchin through the net and couldnt find anything good. I am looking for about 3/4 - 1 inch blocks for the rear of my 89 BII, if you could show me some sites that have some, i would greatly appreciate it.

Have you looked at the shim plates used on the Explorer Sports? Those might work for you. Just put in however many you need for the amount of lift you want.

I doubt the shim plates from an explorer would work theyre probably gonna be wider then the stock BII springs. If you notice the springs off the sport are actually wider then the 4dr springs they taper down at the end. why dont you just try getting an add-a-leaf for the back. that should lift it up about an inch.

I have add a leafs and when i put them in(My leaf springs are brand new from www.jamesduff.com which are 3 in lift springs) and it raised it another 3 in which i cant have. I just need some lift blocks about 3/4 to 1 inch tall

You could get some taller ones and cut them down to the size you want.........

1 in blocks

Fabtech motorsports has a very stout set of 1 in blocks.
They are solid metal and not hollow like the taller blocks
you find.
They have a store in anaheim california called
Agressive suspensions and I believe the blocks are
around 35 to 40 bucks.
Their phone# is: 714-632-9004

Hmmmm, any one know any websites that I could check out some blocks?

summitracing.com usually has pictures or their products
online.
I think the brands they carry are belltech and DJM and
their own line.

I also would like to know some info on Shackles, what are they and what do they do?Where do there go?

shackles hold the leaf spring at the rear of the spring, and attach the spring to the truck. longer ones move the spring farther from the chassis/frame/body and give you more lift.

just a word of cuation...dont go over 4" extended length on a shackle.... this will cause problems later

I've also used shackles from summit, they were meant for a fullsize ford but they fit on my ranger just fine.
The ones i used were 2'' but it threw my pinion angle
off too much so i drilled new holes where the stock
shackle holes would be and replaced them since my
stock shackles were shot anyways.
