lift kits need some input

i would like to know about getting a lift kit installed on my explorer what needs to be done and what would be best for me. i dont plan on doing alot of off roading but would like to know i would be set if i did. should i get a body lift or a suspension lift and i was thinking about 2 inches what would you all do. ask for more info if needed

If you want better off road performance and bigger tires get a suspension lift. If you just want bigger tires, get a body lift.

All you have to do for a 2 inch suspension lift is get longers coils or use coil spacers up front. In the rear, you use extended length shackles or add a leaf to the rear spring pack. Thats all there is to it.
 






how much would that run me jut the kit it is not a 4 wd so i might want to go with the body lift and larger size tires

It's hard to find suspension lift kits for 2wd, I don't know how much they cost. Body lifts will fit either 4wd or 2wd. JCWhitney ( www.jcwhitney.com ) has them for like $90 for a three inch and $80 for a two inch
