lift options for 99 4x2 4 door

i had seen so many lifts but i guess i just ask so someone can tell me what options i havel. how many ways can i lift up my 4x2 99 XLT? i know OME is one way. can someone tell me what i need for each method? for the ome, do they sent everything in one box, meaning i dont have to go out and buy some other parts to go with it? thanks for your help

Hi swak6287,
Your truck has torsion bars just like the 4X4's do, only you don't have the front diff.
The front is easy. Do the "Torsion Bar Twist"
What you can do is one of three things for the rear end.

1. Add-a-leaf. Buy the add-a-leafs and put them on.
2. Warrior Shackles. Buy the shackles and put them on.
3. OME 2" lifted springs (my favorite). Buy the springs, buy the spring bushings ($78.99 for the bushings from Ford, and Only Ford has them), have a machine shop press them in for you (cost $10.00), and put them in. You could also have your old spring bushings pressed out and used again if you want, but is was easier to just put new ones on.
