After driving around for a few years in a 2nd gen EB v8 Explorer I have come back to a first gen (just love the looks and the ability to modify them easier) . I bought a real nice 93 sport now its time to get it away from the ground I have been looking at lift kits until my eyes went goofy from looking at the computer to long. This Ex will be driven 80% on road (daily driver) so i going for more looks than ###tion I guess you could say. SO looking at cost and different options each kit comes with I think I have settled on the Rough Country 4" kit with new rear leaf springs ,now my question is according to their web site the reccomended tire size is 33x 12 .50 is this true with out trimming because every other compant recommends 31x 10.50 tires. I would like to fit 32x 11.50 x 15 BFG a/t's on a set of 15x 8" rims will it work and how many of you have experiance with this lift ? Does it work alright ? Hows the ride? Thanks in advance for any help.

I ran 32x10.5x15 TSL Radials with only a 4" suspension on my 94 XLT, with no problems.

32x11.5 should be perfect with a 4" lift.

i run a 4 inch lift with 33's and its good

32x11.5's should be fine on that 4inch lift. I'm going to be running that on a 3inch body lift and soon after getting the 2 inch suspension lift from Skyjacker.
