I'm still in the market for an inexpensive lift to fit 31's under my 94xlt.
Has anyone tried these....or any thoughts on a similar price/style product http://www.go2rdsi.com/racing/ford/fordexplorer.html
thanks
Thanks for the quick response.
Sorry it took so long to thank you.
Should I buy new U-bolts when I do the install?
Also they sell a kit on ebay same basic parts but including the cams and the stud extenders,(may or may not need the 2nd part) for $189.00 what do you think?
I bought a 2" lift system like that for my X and didn't need anything but camber/caster adjustment shims to correct the alignment issues after the lift but thats only because im running some aftermarket springs that are alittle stiffer than stock. you may not need anything but the kit, but every truck is different. I didn't need the stud extenders, actually i had plenty of stud on my shocks left over, enough to be able to shim the bottom to return them to the original height. You will notice the difference in the height of your truck, the kit does make it look better than stock. But beware, once you start there you will want to go higher, i did now im gonna be 9 " lift and 35" tires, and broke! But the truck will look good! LOL
