i want to do a soa in the rear, but whats a cheap way that i can lift the front about 4 or 5 inches also, without buying a kit. like what custom parts can i make or what do i have to deal with and everything. thanks.

Thats gonna be hard to do. I have a guy looking at my front components out of a 4" if not they will be for sale in less than a month.

how much would u want for it?

There is really no cheap way to lift the front of your Ex without also jeprodizing your safety.

About the best and most reasonable thing that you could do would be to purchase the lift brakets from some company (for instance, BD Suspension sells theirs for around $120) and then find some springs that would work.

You still have to deal with: shocks - steering drop - camber adjustment - brake lines - and a few other related issues, and by the time you do all that, you may as well just purchase someone's 5" kit and be done with it.

I guess that you could make the brakets yourself. If you are good with a welder - and understand metal fabrication, it isn't rocket science, but IF your next question deals with what they have to look like, then the task is likely out of your league.

Another option is to cut and turn the beams - which has been covered a couple times both here, and on The Ranger Station forum (they have an illustrated article). With cut and turned beams, you still have all the issues listed above to deal with - save for making brakets.
