I am looking for an alternative in regards to lifting my X, I can't justify getting rid of my 2.5 suspension lift, for one, no one will want to buy it. So I propose this question, Can I do an spring over on the rear and add 2" coil spacers on the front? If I am figuring right, this should give me around 4"-4.5" total lift (w/ current 2.5 Lift) Is this feasible to do? will it work?? Advice/critisism please

I would say yes, but I am not expert, but here's what I do know. The SOA in the rear will give you 4 inches. If you use the coil spacers plus the 2.5 inch coils, it should add up to 4 or so inches. You will have to get a drop pittman arm (if you don't have it already) and longer shocks.

Talk to Kris Gillabeaux. He has a similar set up in his Mazda Navajo.

Did your 2.5 inch lift come with drop brackets?? if so you will be stretching you camber bushing to their limits with the coil spacers.....if you dont have drop brackets you will diffinantly need them now.

As for the SOA, Depending on how bad your spings sag most people get about 5.5 inchs or a little more for that.

i have seen an add for some brackets that adjust camber if you are lifted 2" on the rangers... they should work in conjunction to the stock eccentrics and allow normal alignment.... i was actually planning on doing just that for awhile.... good luck...

ok on the SOA if the truck is stock what all do i need the new spring perchs, longer shocks, extended radius arms, extended sway bars, extened driveshaft for front and bad right. what else
