I am planning on putting in a 2" suspension 2-3" body lift on my 93 and run some 33x12.5 pro comp mudders. I have a 4wd with auto locking hubs. Am I going to need a new gear ratio like 4.56 or will my setup be fine?

Depends what you have in there now. Figure out what you have now, and make adjustments from there. I run big 33s with a 4.56 and it is good.

Depends on what gear ratio you have now, I have 33's with 3.73 gear ratio and can't wait to get new gears, with just the 33's I would suggest 4.10 or the 4.56 like you said, you might be able to live with it, you'll almost have to wait and see if it bugs you or it dosen't seem that bad to you IMHO

:banghead: How can anyone tell you if your setup is ok if you dont say what setup you have.

ive got whatever came stock on a 93, i would assume they are 3.73 and ive got 31's with no lift. My question really is, is it necessary to change gears and if so how much would it cost.

Check to see what you really have. X's came in 3.27, 3.55, 3.73, and I think a couple more options. No one can answer you question without knowing what's in it now.
